The Ganga is one of the most sacred rivers of India. It originates from Gangotri glacier in the Himalayas. Millions of people depend on it for agriculture, drinking water and transport. But today the river is highly polluted due to industrial waste and human activities. The Government has launched Namami Gange project to clean the river. We all should keep our rivers clean.
